FISHING ADVICE
There are many ways to catch fish on Ramsey, both Walleye and Pike are abundant! The water is tea stained and the lake itself is in the heart of the Canadian Shield. This means great structure for the fish. A few of our favourite methods are listed below:
Walleye
1/4 to 1/2 ounce jigs with various coloured tails. Some of our favourites are white/chartreuse/yellow and pink
Slow trolling with a worm harness
Trolling with a Rapala is a great way to explore the lake at the same time as fishing
Northern Pike
4″ spoons in a variety of colours
Crank baits
Rapala lures
